DBX the Dubai International Airport published their cargo freight figures for April last, handling slightly over 204.000 tons, or 3.6% less than the tonnages reported one year earlier. Year to date, the cargo volumes totaled nearly 800.000 tons which is a slump of 4.7% in comparison with 837.837 tons handling during the first 4 months in 2014. The decrease was mainly caused by a shift of freighter cargo operation to the DWC, Dubai World Central airport.
